  • During this tour you will spend time in Lima and some of the most majestic sites of Peru. This is our mainstay program with additional excursions to Puno and Arequipa. You will also have two nights in Lima, which will give you the chance to start your trip with some general history of Peru. Then you will continue to Cusco, and other surrounding sites around the city of Cusco, such as Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley, before reaching Machu Picchu. You will then head to Puno, located on the Altiplano, or high plateau, a vast tableland lying at an average altitude of 12,124 ft above sea level and on the shores of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. Your final stop will be Arequipa, also known as the “white” city, built entirely with white lava stones and surrounded by volcanoes and marvel at the deepest canyon in the world.
