Exploring Peru y Bolivia
( 9 Days / 8 Nights )A classic itinerary with moderate walking at high levels, an amazing trip to Puno and floating islands and an international day-trip to Bolivia. This is one of our international programs. This journey will take you into the heart of the Incan Empire, exploring the impressive sites of Sacsayhuaman and other surrounding sites around the city of Cusco, such as Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley before reaching Machu Picchu citadel. You will then continue to the city of Puno, located on the shores of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. Your exciting trip will continue with a road trip crossing the border with Bolivia and visiting Copacabana, the most important religious sanctuary of Bolivia. Thousands of pilgrims visit the Virgin of Copacabana every year, also known as the Colored Virgin and the Virgin of the Lake. Next, you will board a cruise that will take you to the Sun Island or “Isla del Sol”, the most enigmatic place of the Titikaka Lake.

You will begin your journey by flying to Cusco, to begin the first portion of your trip, where you live the Inca experience and explore the impressive sites of Sacsayhuaman and other surrounding sites, such as Ollantaytambo in the Valley of the Incas, before reaching Machu Picchu citadel. You will then flight to Ecuador and finally to Galapagos, in order to board your cruise through the. Galapagos islands. The islands are geologically young and famed for their vast number of endemic species, which were studied by Charles Darwin during the voyage of the Beagle. His observations and collections contributed to the inception of Darwin´s theory of evolution by natural selection.
