Exploring Iquitos( 7 Days / 6 Nights )
This journey will take you into the heart of the Incan Empire, exploring the impressive sites of Sacsayhuaman and other surrounding sites around the city of Cusco, such as Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley, before reaching Machu Picchu and finalizing the trip with an amazing jungle adventure. We designed this program to be a great multi-destination trip so you will have a chance to see these Peruvian sites in the most efficient way in 7 days. The city of Iquitos is located on the shores of the Amazon River, the longest and widest river, with the greatest volume of water in the world. It is flanked on either side by the mouths of the Nanny and Itaya rivers. Even though it is the largest city in the Peruvian jungle, it can only be reached by air or by water, since there is no roads that can reach it.
Amazon Cruise Experience( 9 Days / 8 Nights )
This is our mainstay program, with an addittional cruise by the wonderful AmazonRiver. You will begin your journey in Cusco, exploring the impressive sites of Sacsayhuaman and other surrounding sites around the city of Cusco, such as Ollantaytambo, in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, before reaching Machu Picchu. After this you will continue with your cruise to the Amazon, which constitutes over half of the planet’s remaining rainforest. This excursion is very special as it is a less “traveled road”. It is an amazing opportunity to explore the Amazon and all its wonders in the comfort of a boat. You will see exotic plants and incredible animals as the pink dolphin, and learn about the native’s cultures and customs. The Amazon River is the life force of the forest, rising in the Peruvian Andes and winding its way east over the northern half of South America until reaching the Atlantic Ocean. During this cruise you will visit the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, the largest protected flooded forests in the world, making it one of the primary intact swathes of rainforest in the Peruvian Amazon.
